What is HeadUp TBI East Texas
HeadUp TBI East Texas is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to serve as a resource to provide relevant information for individuals in East Texas and beyond who have been diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Our goal is not only to focus on individuals with a TBI, but also their loved ones and friends.
One of the biggest challenges for those who care about someone who has experienced a TBI is knowing where to turn for information on local, regional, and statewide professionals and organizations with expertise in traumatic brain injury including hospitals, doctors, rehabilitation facilities, counseling, and many other resources that will be critical in the weeks and months following a TBI. Our long-term goal is to create a community of people who can care about and share with each other the struggles and
successes of their TBI journey.

My name is Leslie Fossey Rollings, and three years ago while driving to work where I was the marketing director for a large orthopedic physician group in East Texas, I was hit by an 18-wheel truck.
