This link to the Disability site of the Texas Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) outlines several resources for those with a disability including Acquired Brain Injury. The Disability home page also provides links to Medicaid, Medicare, the Supplement Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Social Security, and Supplemental Social Security Income (SSI).
The HHS Acquired Brain Injury link (About OABI) on the top left of the Disability page is especially helpful with information on the Office of Acquired Brain Injury, Crucial First Steps, educational videos, and other general resources.
